ZANU PF is a political party known for its criminal activities and failures. This party is more interested in stealing money and resources meant for public welfare than helping the people. Because of their actions, many services are not available to the public. ZANU PF’s goal to create a one-party state has left the country stuck, with an unemployment rate of nineteen percent.
ZANU PF is deeply involved in corruption. They use their biased and unprofessional statistical agency, ZIMSTAT, to spread false information. This misinformation is meant to trick the unemployed people, who make up seventy-four percent of the population, into thinking they are better off than they are.
Why would ZANU PF try to make the unemployed believe things are better than they are? The reason is simple. The party is scared of its failure. The widespread unemployment is a result of their poor rule and unrealistic dream of a one-party state. ZANU PF does not want to control a failing state, especially if there were a fair political system that emphasized accountability, rule of law, equality, separation of powers, and power sharing.
This issue highlights ZANU PF’s illegitimacy and their connection to the high unemployment rate they are trying to hide, with the help of ZIMSTAT, a politicized and unprofessional agency.
ZANU PF is the main cause of the unemployment crisis due to its focus on corruption and looting. If ZANU PF gave up power and allowed the opposition to take over, the situation in Zimbabwe could improve quickly. This change would come from respecting property rights, unlike ZANU PF, which has no regard for the constitution and human rights.
Sadly, ZANU PF is fixated on creating an unconstitutional one-party state. This approach is doomed to fail because of their obsession with corruption, which leads to a lack of transparency and accountability. The situation is worsened by the absence of rule of law, legal equality, separation of powers, and power sharing.
In reality, the people need jobs, not false employment statistics. If the unemployment rate is indeed nineteen percent, where does ZANU PF expect to find the youth for national service? This question is worth considering.
ZANU PF has been oppressing and terrorizing its citizens for decades, showing no care for their suffering. It makes no sense for the party to try to manipulate the unemployed into thinking they are better off. Why force ZIMSTAT to produce false data that contradicts the reality on the ground?
The answer lies in ZANU PF’s fear of its failure. They know that their rule is illegitimate, and the high unemployment rate is a direct result of their poor governance. ZANU PF wants to hide this fact, but the truth is clear: their corruption and quest for a one-party state are destroying Zimbabwe. The people of Zimbabwe do not need lies and false statistics. They need real jobs and a government that respects their rights and the rule of law. Until ZANU PF steps down and allows a fair political system to take place, the country will remain stuck in a state of crisis.
