Wonders never cease in Zimbabwe. The country, often called a banana republic, is in a state of paralysis. This is due to the political illegitimacy of the ZANU PF, a party that many consider a criminal enterprise. The ZANU PF is accused of being a failing, terrorist, tyrannical, and authoritarian regime. It is described as illegitimate, parasitic, criminal, and pestilential. The party is said to be focused on plundering and looting for self-enrichment, violating the supreme law of the land, and neglecting the welfare of the people. Service delivery has been deprived, making ZANU PF the worst tragedy to ever happen to Zimbabwe.

The situation in Zimbabwe is dire. The people are hungry, poor, and hit by inflation. The police force, which is partisan and politicized, should be reformed into a proper police service. Yet, they are being trained to handle projected election riots. This seems ridiculous and misleading. The police, being poor and hungry themselves, are not prophets who can predict the future. How did they conclude that there will be election riots?

One must question what happened to the peace-loving Zimbabweans. According to Rushwaya, a notorious gold smuggler, the people are dunderheads. Did all the peace-loving Zimbabweans migrate to Europe and the United States? When did the suffering masses, who have been neglected for four decades, become so violent that they would riot over elections? These people are impoverished, food insecure, unemployed, terrorized, and oppressed. Their welfare has been neglected, creating a cycle of tragedy. The predatory elites have become desensitized and unresponsive, resulting in poor service delivery. Basic constitutional liberties, like healthcare, clean water, and education, are deprived.

In such a banana republic, people would be shot with weapons of war by the equally hungry, poor, and politicized military. The situation is grim. The police, considered the worst in the world, are setting up an internal committee to investigate what they predict as poll-based crimes. However, this internal committee did not show its capabilities during the primary elections of ZANU PF. In the depressing history of Zimbabwe, one must look at who has been committing poll-based crimes with impunity. Have these individuals been arrested at all?

The answer is often no. The police force, along with the military, are part of the problem. They are tools used by the ZANU PF to maintain power. The people of Zimbabwe continue to suffer under this regime. They lack basic rights and services. Their lives are characterized by hunger, poverty, and oppression. The ZANU PF has failed the country, turning it into a state of chaos and despair. The future looks bleak unless significant changes are made. The world watches as Zimbabwe struggles under the weight of its corrupt and tyrannical government.
